Its been a while since my last update, but I have still been riding my e-max. Here is a record of the most recent charge-ups:

I have decided to start charging my scooter more often, to the point of charging after each return trip from work (weather permitting). From reading these e-max discussion forums, common wisdom is that it is better for battery life to recharge more often, rather than running them down between charges.

In practice, I am not quite succeeding with this as it has been quite hot lately (with several groups of days in the 38-42 degree celcius range) and I am reluctant to put the charger on when it is so hot as I don't want to risk overheating the charger or the batteries. As a result, sometimes I still go two or three days between charges.
